WWT Slimbridge This morning the Ross’s Goose on the Tack Piece, which has now been present in the Frampton/Slimbridge area for 3 years, six Little Ringed Plovers, 70+ Black-tailed Godwits, four Green Sandpipers, an Egyptian Goose with six goslings and a pair of Common Cranes with two juveniles (view from Hogarth hide) on South Lake. (MK/Magnus Carter). This afternoon the summer-plumaged Spotted Redshank and four Ruff (2 white and 2 black in partial summer plumage) from Zeiss hide this afternoon. (Magnus Carter). Frampton pools At Court Lake a Spotted Flycatcher with young, nine Little Egrets, 16 Coots, 13 Moorhens and 12 young, a Great Crested Grebe and three young, 89 Mute Swans and six cygnets, 55 Barnacle Geese and six goslings and 52 Greylags and nine goslings. (Nick Goatman).

Hucclecote This morning in the garden an adult female Mallard with a juvenile male. Yesterday three Mallards, an adult female and a juvenile male and female, a juvenile Goldfinch on a seed feeder and two Herring Gulls chased off the pigeons and ducks. (Harold Smith).
