Saul Warth     At high tide at 6:30am a Great White Egret, two Little Egrets, three Grey Herons, two Great Crested Grebes on the river, 50+ Shelducks including 20 ducklings, a Common Tern and another on the canal, 130+ Avocets, 105+ Curlews, three Lapwings, eight Oystercatchers and a Marsh Harrier. WWT Slimbridge     The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still at Middle Point today. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Nailsworth     A very early male MERLIN, chasing a small bird at Barton End this afternoon. Also, two Red Kites, a Buzzard and a Kestrel there. A small southerly movement of 60+ Swifts this morning over Windsoredge. (Terry Grant).

Stonehouse     In the Bond’s Mill area this afternoon a Peregrine hunting high around the mill. Also a Buzzard, a Grey Heron, a Kingfisher, a Chiffchaff and a Kestrel. (Paul Sutton).

Maisemore     This afternoon 38 House Martins, two Swallows, a Kingfisher, eight Moorhens, a Coot, a female Tufted Duck, three Blackcaps, six Chiffchaffs, a Song Thrush, two Jays, two Buzzards, nine Mallards, two Mute Swans and 200 corvids, Rooks and Crows. (John Fletcher).
