WWT Slimbridge     The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still at Middle Point showed well between 8:30-9:15am and again this afternoon until 3:20pm at least. (MK/Andy Jayne). On South Lake three Dunlins, a Green Sandpiper, 120+Black-tailed Godwits, 20+ Redshanks, a Spotted Redshank, six Ruff, 6+ Lapwings, an Avocet, four Oystercatchers, a Black Swan and a pair of Egyptian Geese with three goslings. Cam     A Little Owl at Woodend Lane just before 8am this morning. (Mike Davis).

Whitminster     A Red Kite flew low over the A38 at Attwoolls at 12:55pm. (Ian Elphick).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This evening 12 Mute Swans, a Canada Goose, two Teal, 60 Mallards, a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, a Grey Heron, a Sparrowhawk, an adult female Marsh Harrier, a Buzzard, a Water Rail calling, three Little Ringed Plovers, a Black-tailed Godwit, a Green Sandpiper, a Redshank, 10+ Swifts, 15+ Sand Martins, 5+ House Martins and song from at least five Sedge Warblers and two Reed Warblers, also odd Blackcaps and Reed Buntings.
