WWT Slimbridge     A GLOSSY IBIS flew over the Tack Piece into South Lake for c15 minutes before flying to the Top New Piece with no further reports. (Tim McGrath/Gordon Youdale).

Walmore Common     A BITTERN today and a female type Marsh Harrier. (Andy Jayne).

Saul Warth     At high tide mid-morning 110+ Black-tailed Godwits, c100 Avocets, 25+ Curlews, a Whimbrel, four Oystercatchers, two Dunlins, a Lapwing, 120+ Shelducks, a Marsh Harrier, a Kestrel, 20+ Swallows, a Sand Martin and a Lesser Whitethroat. (MK).

Frampton     From Fretherne Bridge to Splatt Bridge two Little Egrets, four Oystercatchers over, a pair of Mute Swans with six juveniles, three Stock Doves, two Chiffchaffs, two Blackcaps and a male Reed Bunting. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A Great White Egret this morning. (Duncan Dine).

Cleeve Hill     This morning four Stonechats, c20 Linnets, two Bullfinches, three Yellowhammers, a Dunnock taking food to nest, numerous Skylarks and Meadow Pipits and lots of Dark-green Fritillaries. (Paul Masters).

Cheltenham     Yesterday a leucistic Kestrel in a private garden for a short while. Pics by Steve Money.

Ashleworth Ham     A ringing session today caught 48 birds including four Redstarts, three Sedge Warblers, 18 Whitethroats, five Lesser Whitethroats, a Blackcap, three Bullfinches and a Linnet. On the reserve a Skylark still singing, some song from Whitethroats and Reed Buntings and two Ravens. (Mike Smart/Stuart Brown/Matt Smith).
