Saul Warth     At high tide this morning 54 Shelducks, nine Mallards, an adult Mute Swan, four Little Egrets, 110+ Avocets, 87+ Curlews, eight Oystercatchers, seven Redshanks, 14 Black-tailed Godwits, 50 Dunlins, a Green Sandpiper, two Lapwings, two Kestrels, a Whitethroat, a male and a juvenile Reed Bunting. A Roe Deer swam 500m down the canal, a Kingfisher and a Jay. (MK). This morning at Hock Ditch and Cliff 4+ Kestrels, two Green Woodpeckers, two Reed Warblers and a Hobby. (Mike Davis).

Frampton     A Goshawk and a juvenile Cattle Egret from Splatt Bridge this morning. (Gordon Hodgson).

WWT Slimbridge    Two Great White Egrets and 13 Little Egrets from Stephen Kirk hide this morning. (Heather England).

Forest of Dean     At Nagshead today birds included two Garden Warblers, three Spotted Flycatchers, three Jays, five Blackcaps, 18+ Goldcrests, a Sparrowhawk, two Buzzards, two Nuthatches, three Ravens, three Chiffchaffs, three Stock Doves, a Swift, three Coal Tits, five Siskins and six Goldfinches. Cam     Two Dippers on the River Cam this afternoon between Cam and Dursley. (Mike Davis).

Ebley     On Doverow Hill this afternoon at least 12 Red Kites and at least five Buzzards feeding on two fields that were being cut for hay making. (Steve Kear).

Nailsworth     A Hobby and a small number of Swifts flew S this evening. A pair of food carrying Swifts appear to be feeding young still in the nest at Amberley. (Terry Grant).

Guscar Rocks/Aylburton Warth     WeBS count today 35 Canada Geese, 28 Mallards, three Grey Herons, four Oystercatchers, 425 Curlews, a Whimbrel, 5+ Redshanks, four Common Sandpipers, 201 Black-headed Gulls, a Common Gull, six Lesser Black-backed Gulls, ten Skylarks, a Yellow Wagtail, four singing Reed Warblers, at least 50 Carrion Crows and 50 Jackdaws and a singing Reed Bunting. Berkeley     This afternoon a Goshawk up on the ridge of Whitcliff Park, soaring then perched in a tree. (Tim Fell).

Berkeley shore     WeBS count today at high tide nine Common Sandpipers, a Greenshank, nine Redshanks, an Oystercatcher, two Ringed Plovers, 339 Black-headed Gulls, eight Ravens, adults and fledged young, 34 Pied Wagtails at the sports centre by the power station, 50+ House Martins, a Peregrine on the power station roof and a Stonechat with young in the Pill. Gloucester     A juvenile Grey  Heron and a Little Egret at the old Boating Lake, Westgate this morning. (Paul Clark).

Halmore     In the garden today birds included four Greenfinches including juveniles, a Jay, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, two Pied Wagtails and a Sparrowhawk. Three Swallows and a House Martin over. (Chris Newton).
