Saul Warth     At high tide this morning 101 Avocets, 65 Curlews, 50+ Dunlins, two Redshanks, six Lapwings, 11 Oystercatchers, 65 Shelducks, three Kestrels, three Little Egrets and a Whitethroat. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge     The Spotted Redshank on the Rushy again and an adult and a juvenile Mediterranean Gull on South Lake. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Tresham     Late afternoon a Spotted Flycatcher, a Greenfinch, a Whitethroat, three Corn Buntings, two Stock Doves, a Red Kite and a hunting Marsh Harrier. (Paul Rich).

Frampton pools     Late evening 2+ Spotted Flycatchers, an adult Yellow-legged Gull, four Common Terns, a Lesser Whitethroat, three Whitethroats, eight Reed Warblers, 12 Swifts, 30+ Swallows, 10+ House Martins, five Sand Martins, two Kingfishers, 22 Black-headed Gulls and 9 juveniles, 83 Mute Swans, 115 Barnacle Geese, 24 Greylags and a Ross’s Goose. (Nick Goatman). Earlier the Bar-headed x Snow Goose, six Great Crested Grebes, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Great White Egret and 28 Sand Martins. (Oliver Paisey).

Walmore Common     Two Whinchats, Linnets, Sedge Warblers, a Buzzard and a Kestrel. (Rachel Thomas).

Coombe Hill Meadows     An unringed Great White Egret, five Little Egrets, a Cormorant and 16 Mute Swans this morning. (Les Ditchburn).

Nailsworth     23 Swifts, 60+ House Martins, nine Swallows and three Sand Martins flew S. Also 10+ Buzzards, a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel and a Red Kite. (Terry Grant).

Guscar Rocks     At high tide this evening 301 Curlews came in, 13 rings read (mainly from 2010-2013 Wibdon catches plus one Herefordshire breeding bird, one breeding bird from Avon Valley). Also nine Dunlins, two Whimbrels and 40 Canada Geese. (Mike Smart).
