Saul Warth At high tide five Grey Herons, three Little Egrets, three Cormorants, a Common Tern, a Common Gull, 61+ Shelducks, 133+ Curlews, 60+ Avocets, six Dunlins, a Ringed Plover heard, a Buzzard, a Peregrine, three Kestrels, a Little Owl, four Chiffchaffs, two Lesser Whitethroats, four Swallows and a juvenile Great Crested Grebe on the canal. Elmore Court In the rewilding area this morning viewed from Broadmeadow Bank birds included a Great White Egret, a Cattle Egret and a Little Egret, three Lapwings, two Teal and a Little Grebe on the scrape. Also five Buzzards, a Red Kite, a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, and a Little Owl called briefly and a buck Roe Deer. (Steve Pullen).

Cam Green From the garden this morning two Red Kites over, and a Jersey Tiger in nettles. (Brian Kings).
Leckhampton Court/St Peter’s Church A Buzzard begging, a Jay, a Raven heard distantly, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and three Mistle Thrushes. (Steve Brown).
Aylburton Warth Birds today included four juvenile Shelducks, three Mallards, a Grey Heron, three Oystercatchers, a Ringed Plover, 30 Dunlins, a Black-tailed Godwit, 517 Curlews in the high tide roost, a Redshank heard, ten Swallows, a Yellow Wagtail, a Meadow Pipit and 60 Linnets. (Mike Smart).
