Saul Warth     At high tide at 7:45am three Turnstones, 19 Avocets, 120+ Curlews, a Greenshank, five Redshanks, seven Ringed Plovers, 15 Dunlins, 66 Shelducks, two Grey Herons, eight Little Egrets and two Kestrels. In the hedges four Lesser Whitethroats, two Whitethroats, a Sedge Warbler, three Chiffchaffs and a Blackcap. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     At 10am, three Whinchats in rough vegetation W  of north scrape. On north scrape a Common Sandpiper on a small island and two Great White Egrets. (Les Ditchburn).

WWT Slimbridge     Three Spotted Redshanks and two Greenshanks on the Rushy. (Warren Gill).

Lydney     At the New Grounds 400+ Canada Geese, a Peregrine through, three Little Egrets, a Cormorant, 20 Great Black-backed Gulls and 25 Lesser Black-backed Gulls today. (Paul Sutton).

Ashleworth Ham     A CES ringing session caught 25 birds including a Redstart, a Sedge Warbler, a Reed Warbler, a Whitethroat, a Willow Warbler, three Chiffchaffs and seven Long-tailed Tits. On the reserve a Mute Swan, two Mallards, a Grey Heron, three Moorhens, a House Martin and a Raven. (Mervyn Greening/Mike Smart).
