WWT Slimbridge     The leucistic Marsh Harrier around the grounds again today also two juvenile Marsh Harriers. Two Garganeys on the Rushy and two Garganeys from Zeiss hide, probably different. The Pink-footed Goose with the Canada Goose flock on the Top New Piece. The SPOONBILL around the grounds again. From Middle Point 12 Little Egrets, four Grey Herons, two Greenshanks and two Kestrels. Also a Peregrine and the Ross’s Goose. From Kingfisher hide 22 Gadwalls and a pair of Common Cranes with a juvenile. (Martin McGill/Dot Jones/Paul Sutton/Neil Smart). 33+ ARCTIC TERNS distantly going downstream at high tide against a stiff SW wind. (Neil Smart). A Swift and lots of Sand Martins over South Lake. Two Common Terns flew downriver and two Turnstones from Middle Point. (David Creber).

Saul Warth     Early morning 12 Avocets, 48 Curlews, 20 Ringed Plovers, 80+ Shelducks, four Little Egrets, two Peregrines, a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, two Lesser Whitethroats, two Whitethroats, a Chiffchaff singing, a Yellow Wagtail and a Meadow Pipit. Also a Migrant Hawker and a Common Darter. (MK).

Elmore Court     At the rewilding area early afternoon a Great White Egret, five Little Egrets, two Grey Herons and a Green Sandpiper on the scrape, also around two Whinchats with a Stonechat, a Hobby caught a juvenile Goldfinch, 5+ Buzzards, three Kestrels and two Ravens. (Steve Pullen).

Stonehouse     A Swift over junction 13 of the M5 at 4pm. (Mark Hobson).

Nailsworth     60+ House Martins and five Sand Martins flew S at 1:40pm and three Wheatears perched on bales at Barton End late afternoon. (Terry Grant).

Kings Stanley     A female Sparrowhawk in the garden with a kill at lunchtime today. (Allan Jeffcutt).
