WWT Slimbridge     A SPOONBILL, later at Middle Point, and a Great White Egret from Zeiss hide. (Dot Jones/Tim Jukes). Also a Cattle Egret from Zeiss hide. (Oliver Paisey). 191 Black-tailed Godwit, three Greenshanks and three Spotted Redshanks on the Rushy. (Tim Jukes). A Garganey from Martin Smith hide. (Roberta Goodall). Two group of three Common Cranes on the river bank from the Estuary Tower today. (Clare McLeod).

Saul Warth     Between 11:30-2pm two Whinchats still, three Lesser Whitethroats, a Whitethroat, two Blackcaps, five Chiffchaffs, a distant Marsh Harrier up with four Buzzards, 27 Curlews and a Migrant Hawker. (MK). 3 possibly 4 Spotted Flycatchers this evening. (Gordon Hodgson).

Frampton pools     A Spotted Flycatcher, six Reed Warblers, three Lesser Whitethroats, eight Whitethroats, a Yellow Wagtail, a Garden Warbler, four Willow Warblers, 49 Chiffchaff, 19 Blackcaps, eight Reed Buntings, four Cetti’s Warblers, three Shovelers, a Teal, six Gadwalls, 33 Mallards, the adult Yellow-legged Gull and four Kingfishers today. Ebworth    A Whinchat along the drive to Ebworth this morning. (Tom Griffin).

Gloucester     From Alney to Over this morning a juvenile Grey Heron finishing off the Elvers in the dried out pond, two Buzzards, two Green Woodpeckers, 6+ House Martins, 4+ Chiffchaffs, a Kingfisher. Brown, Migrant, Southern and Southern Migrant Hawkers, 6+ Emerald Damselflies and a Musk Beetle. (Paul Clark).

Bibury     Belated news of the OSPREY at Ready Token again on Tuesday 27th August and also over the River Coln at Fairford. (Jonathan Stebbing).

Longney Crib and sands     This afternoon a Great White Egret, 171 Canada Geese, 51 Greylags, 163 Black-headed Gulls, 255+ Lesser Black-backed Gulls, nine Herring Gulls,
five Great Black-backed Gulls, a Grey Heron, four Swallows and two Ravens. (John Fletcher).

Aylburton Warth     Ten Mallards, three Ringed Plovers, four Dunlins, 489 Curlews, 250 Black-headed Gulls, 75 Swallows and a Wheatear. (Mike Smart).
