WWT Slimbridge    Three juvenile Curlew Sandpipers and two Spotted Redshanks on the Tack Piece this morning. On the Rushy a Spotted Redshank and three Greenshanks. An adult SPOONBILL on the Top New Piece. A BITTERN early on then flew towards Knott hide. A BLACK TERN and a SANDWICH TERN flew down river. (Martin McGill et al). Nine Common Terns off of Middle Point on the mud. (Paul Masters).

Purton     This morning a BLACK TERN, six SANDWICH TERNS and a Common Tern flew down river, also 1000+ Swallows. (Francis Steuck).

Saul Warth     Early morning 15 Avocets, a Greenshank, four Dunlins, 114+ Curlews, four Little Egrets, first two Teal since April, 6+ Chiffchaffs, a Lesser Whitethroat and a male Blackcap. (MK). Late morning 130 Curlews, three Greenshanks, 37 Ringed Plovers, five Dunlins, a Sanderling, a Common Sandpiper, an Avocet and 130 Swallows flew NE. (Gordon Hodgson).

Frampton      Along the canal S of Saul Lodge three Kingfishers together, 13 (5/8) Mandarins flew N, a Little Egret, a Kestrel, the Garden Warbler still, 4+ Chiffchaffs, a Whitethroat, 50+ Swallows and 12 Linnets. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows    Four Great White Egrets, eight Little Egrets, six Grey Herons, a Snipe, a Greenshank, a Green Sandpiper and a Sedge Warbler. (Sarah Townsend/Ian Hull). Also six Whinchats, five Yellow Wagtails, a Red Kite and a Kestrel. (Ian Hull).

Ebworth    A Whinchat along the drive to Ebworth again this morning. (Tom Griffin).
