Saul Warth     Early morning pre-high tide 12 species of wader, a Curlew Sandpiper, a Little Stint, a summer plumage Grey Plover, a Sanderling, a Knot, a Common Sandpiper, a Greenshank, four Turnstones, 96 Ringed Plovers, 25 Dunlins, 18 Avocets, 64+ Curlews, four Teal, 84 Shelducks, seven Little Egrets, 60 Swallows, a Yellow Wagtail and 12 Pied Wagtails and nine Chiffchaffs. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge     An OSPREY flew S over the grounds at 8:20am. (Slimbridge Sightings). A Cattle Egret from Robbie Garnett hide and a visitor report of a late Swift there. Two Garganeys from Martin Smith hide. A SPOONBILL and two Wheatears from Middle Point. Five Pintails and a juvenile Little Ringed Plover on South Lake. Frampton     A juvenile Peregrine from Splatt Bridge at first light this morning and a Marsh Harrier around the 100-Acre. (Steve Pullen).

Forest of Dean     A male Marsh Harrier being mobbed by the local Buzzards at Huntley Sewage Treatment Works. (Owen Follis).

Cleeve Hill     This morning around the Radio Masts 10+ Chiffchaffs, male and female Blackcaps, a few Whitethroats, a Willow Warbler, a Whinchat, a Stonechat and a Raven. (Duncan Dine).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Late morning 4+ Great White Egrets, 3+ Little Egrets, 6+ Grey Herons, 11 Snipe, three Green Sandpipers, two Greenshanks, two Black-tailed Godwits, 50+ Teal, two Marsh Harriers, a Kestrel, a Wheatear, 60+ hirundines including 10+ Sand Martins, two Green Woodpeckers, two Sedge Warblers, a Blackcap, a Whitethroat and 4+ Chiffchaffs. Ashleworth Ham     A ringing session this morning caught 53 birds including a Sedge Warbler, four Blackcaps, a Whitethroat, nine Chiffchaffs and 33 Goldfinches. On the reserve, ten Canada Geese, a Grey Heron, a Greenshank, 30 Swallows, ten House Martins and a Wheatear. (Mervyn Greening/Mike Smart).
