WWT Slimbridge     From Middle Point at GREAT SKUA flew SW at 10:36am. (Francis Steuck). A COMMON SCOTER drifting downstream at 10:42pm and three more flew downriver. A BLACK TERN flew upriver and later a SANDWICH TERN flew upriver. (Paul Rich). Three BLACK TERNS flew SW at 9:35am, (Tim Jukes). Also today a Garganey from Martin Smith hide. (Dot Jones/Nigel Young). A Turnstone and a SPOONBILL from Middle Point. The leucistic Marsh Harrier, later over the Tack Piece, a Hobby, two Curlew Sandpipers and two Little Stints from Zeiss hide. (Tim Jukes/Tim McGrath). Saul Warth     After the fog lifted after high tide eight Little Egrets, a Greenshank, three Common Sandpipers, five Curlews, a Hobby, 64 Swallows flew NE in small groups, the first nine Meadow Pipits of the autumn, 11 Pied Wagtails, three Chiffchaffs and a female/juvenile Redstart briefly in Hock Ditch at 1pm. Frampton     The adult Yellow-legged Gull on the sailing lake at 1:30pm. Also two Sand Martins, four Swallows and seven Cormorants. (MK).

Cerney Wick     21 Cattle Egrets in fields by the Old Railway line today, a County record. (Duncan Dine).

Cotswold Water Park East     At the east end of Fairford near Pit 104 in a stubble field with telegraph wires crossing it, 100+ Swallows, 20 House Martins, a Sparrowhawk, 18 Yellow Wagtails, 30 Greenfinches, 12 Goldfinches and at least 80 Linnets. (Mick Jones).

Gloucester     This morning in Barnwood at 8am a Wheatear near the entrance to Newstead Road. At Horsbere Brook 8:15-9:15am a Kingfisher, a Water Rail heard, a Wheatear, two Blackcaps, a Whitethroat, c15 Chiffchaffs, many Goldfinches, four Greenfinches, a Reed Bunting, a Grey Heron and a Cormorant. Bourton Downs     A Marsh Tit collecting thistle seeds today. (Jamie Brown).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Four Little Egrets, five Grey Herons, ten Mute Swans, 53 Mallards, two Gadwalls, 50 Teal, a Sparrowhawk, a Water Rail calling, a Golden Plover, two Snipe, seven Moorhens, a Cormorant, two Buzzards, 50 Goldfinches, five House Martins, seven Swallows, a Green Woodpecker, five Chiffchaffs, two Reed Buntings and a Raven today. Ashleworth Ham     20 Greylags, a Great White Egret, three Little Egrets, a Grey Heron, a Peregrine, two juvenile Black-tailed Godwits and a Greenshank. (Mike Smart).
