WWT Slimbridge     A PECTORAL SANDPIPER on the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide from 11:50am-3:50pm at least. (David Creber/John Budd/Martin McGill). Also a Green Sandpiper and c30 Ruffs. Three Garganeys, a Spotted Redshank, two Snipe and a Kingfisher on the Rushy. At least two White Wagtails with 8+ Pied Wagtails on the restaurant roof. (MK). At 3:50pm a Cattle Egret from Zeiss hide and a Hobby hunting dragonflies low over the central path in the grounds. (Tim McGrath). An OSPREY on driftwood viewed from Middle Point from 8:30am to 2:30pm at least. (Ian Ralphs).

Frampton     An OSPREY still around Court Lake today. Also a Hobby, the adult Yellow-legged Gull, a Yellow Wagtail, two Ravens, 30+ Sand Martins, 20+ House Martins, a few Swallows, 12 Tufted Ducks, eight Mistle Thrushes, five Greylags, a Sparrowhawk and 17 Cormorants. Sapperton     A Hawfinch over Siccaridge Woods this morning. (James Robinson).

Sharpness     A MERLIN just after dawn. It flew N and then S towards Berkeley Power Station. Also a Green Sandpiper. (Andy Jordan).

Winchcombe     At Hayles camping site and surrounding area birds included 15 House Martins, nine Linnets, seven Goldfinches, two Skylarks, two Nuthatches, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, five Canada Geese, two Greylags, three Moorhens, three Mallards, a Grey Heron, two Jays, two Ravens, three Kestrels, five Buzzards, four Red Kites and a Stoat. Hucclecote     A Red Kite over the garden today, for the first time in 22 years. (Sarah Townsend).

Forest of Dean     Four Red Kites and a Buzzard near Lambsquay just outside Clearwell over a hay-cutting field. (Ty Mein).
