Forest of Dean     A REDWING over Edge Hills this morning. (Owen Follis).

Saul Warth     Early morning at high tide a Great White Egret flew N, 38 Curlews, a Snipe, a Gadwall, four Shelducks, a Kestrel, 138 Swallows flew S, a Stonechat, 20 Meadow Pipits, 20 Goldfinches, two Chiffchaffs, one singing, 80 Starlings and three Mistle Thrushes. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge     From Zeiss hide a Marsh Harrier, a Buzzard, a Hobby, a Kestrel and a Peregrine. Also an Avocet and Snipe, Redshanks and Black-tailed Godwits. (Magnus Carter). A BITTERN by the dragonfly pool at 12:30pm then it took off, circled at treetop height twice and headed towards Kingfisher hide. (Sam Walker).

Gloucester     At Sandhurst this afternoon five Red Kites, two Hobbies and a Little Owl. (Andy Jayne).

Stonehouse     This afternoon a Kingfisher, two Cormorants, a Little Grebe and a Jay around the Ocean. (Paul Sutton).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Birds today included a Mute Swan, 360 Greylags, 140 Canada Geese, 20 Wigeon, 200 Teal, 40 Mallards, 17 Shovelers, three Lapwings, a Swallow, 100 Carrion Crows and 1 or 2 Chiffchaffs. (Mike Smart).
