Frampton     Two OSPREYS at Court Lake at 11am this morning. Also a Hobby, a Peregrine and a Great White Egret. (Martin Drew). This afternoon at the Ospreys proved elusive before 4:40pm when one roosted. A female Marsh Harrier hunted the reedbed at 4:25pm and the adult Yellow-legged Gull flew through. (MK/BK). At Splatt Bridge this morning a Great White Egret, three Marsh Harriers, a Hobby, a Peregrine, two Greenshanks, a Green Sandpiper and two Redwings. Between 8 and 9am 293 Swallows, 11 House Martins and three Sand Martins. Also a Water Rail in the hedge at Saul Warth. (Gordon Hodgson).

Saul Warth     68 Shelducks, two Gadwalls, 66 Curlews, a Greenshank heard, a Common Sandpiper, two Dunlins, a Marsh Harrier, five Little Egrets, 14 Meadow Pipits, three Stonechats, two Skylarks, 23 Linnets, 15 Goldfinches, 16 Swallows, three Sand Martins, a Grey Wagtail, six Chiffchaffs, a male Blackcap and 19 Redwings. Gloucester    A Barn Owl at 0:45am by the Longford roundabout at Plock Court. (Jim Northcott). Around the Recycling area and old tip this lunchtime two Buzzards, two Ravens, two Jays and 60 Linnets. (Gord Avery).

Tewkesbury    At Mythe Hook 15 Mute Swans, c100 Canada Geese, 118 Wigeon, six Gadwalls, 265 Teal, 70 Mallards, 14 Pintails, 15 Shovelers, a Buzzard, an immature Marsh Harrier, 33 Lapwings, a Ruff, 10+ Stock Doves, 20+ Swallows, 1 Cetti’s Warbler and 40 Linnets. (Mike Smart).

Nailsworth/Stroud     Along the cycle track between Dunkirk Mills and Stroud this morning at least 68 Robins. Also two Nuthatches and 12+ Wrens. (Terry Grant).

Westonbirt Arboretum     A Buzzard, a Green Woodpecker, a Coal Tit, several Nuthatches and Goldcrests and a Jay. Also many Speckled Wood butterflies. (Kim & Steve Brown).

Coombe Hill Meadows     6+ Willow Emerald damselflies along the canal this afternoon, including a mating pair. (Duncan & Becky Dine).
