Frampton pools     Around the pools today two OSPREYS, two Hobbies, a Peregrine, three Great White Egrets, four Shovelers, 13 Wigeon, nine Gadwalls, three Great Crested Grebes, 18 Curlews, the adult Yellow-legged Gull, 20 Swallows, 11 House Martins, two Kingfishers, a Nuthatch, four Jays, three Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Green Woodpecker, 10+ Chiffchaffs, five Cetti’s Warblers, four Siskins and a Redwing. Saul Warth     111 Shelducks, 81 Curlews, a Greenshank, a Redshank, a Ringed Plover, three Kestrels, a female Marsh Harrier N over Hock Ditch at 7:12am, eight Grey Herons, six Little Egrets, 25 Meadow Pipits, a male Stonechat, 30 Goldfinches, three Swallows, a Grey Wagtail, a Chiffchaff, a female Blackcap and a Goldcrest. Painswick Beacon     Migration watch highlights today between 7 and 9am, 350 Redwings, eight FIELDFARES, 12 Crossbills, 128 Starlings, 14 Swallows, 40 Common Gulls, nine Goldcrest and a Hawfinch. (John Fleming).

Ebworth Estate     A Wheatear and two Stonechats (m & f) from the car park, a Buzzard, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Nuthatch, two Mistle Thrushes and two Ravens. (Steve Brown).
