Cleeve Hill      A DOTTEREL at 5pm today at SO9853026462. Also a Short-eared Owl being mobbed by Jackdaws. (Stuart Galey).

Frampton     An OSPREY at Court Lake caught a fish this morning. Also a Great White Egret, three Little Egrets, a pair of Great Crested Grebes and two juveniles, 100+ Coots and a pair of Gadwalls. (Paul Sutton). Also a Jay, a Kingfisher, a Nuthatch and 2+ Migrant Hawkers. (Mike Davis). Both OSPREYS were present today. (Nick Goatman).

WWT Slimbridge     On South Lake ten Cattle Egrets and three Little Egrets at midday. (Nigel Young).

Huntley     A Water Rail calling in reed beds at Huntley sewage treatment works this afternoon. (Owen Follis).

Saul Warth      At 11am high tide 103 Shelducks, 68+ Curlews, a Grey Plover, a Common Sandpiper, 3 Kestrels, a Great White Egret, five Little Egrets, nine Meadow Pipits, three Skylarks, 12 Goldfinches, seven Linnets, just a trickle of 12 Swallows, a Chiffchaff and six Long-tailed Tits. (MK). Earlier a pair of Stonechats at Hock Ditch. (Mike Davis).

Stinchcombe Hill     This evening 14 Redwings over and noticeable increase in Song Thrush and Blackbird numbers. A few Meadow Pipits, Siskins and Linnets over too. At least 25 Pied Wagtails before they left to roost in the Vale. (James Robinson).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning birds included 30 Greylags, 280 Canada Geese, c100 Wigeon, eight Gadwall, c300 Teal, 100 Mallards, 60+ Pintails, 30+ Shovelers, 12 Tufted Ducks, a Buzzard, five Coots, 10+ Skylarks and two Bullfinches. (Mike Smart/Paul Clark). Also along the canal at lunchtime 4+ Willow Emerald damselflies and 12+ Migrant Hawkers. (Paul Clark).

Ashleworth Ham     Six Shovelers, 14 Teal, 17 Wigeon, a Little Grebe, four Gadwalls, 60 Mallards, 42 Greylags, 55 Canada Geese, two Mute Swans, two Grey Herons, four House Martins and a Red Kite. (John Fletcher).

Siddington     A Great White Egret on a small pond near Hales Farm between Siddington and South Cerney at 3:15pm. (Stewart McIntosh).
