Frampton     This evening an OSPREY still on Court Lake. (Nick Goatman).

Edge     Belated news of a HOOPOE in a private garden last week. Looked for today and no sign. (per John Fletcher).

Chavenage Lane area     Birds included at least seven Buzzards, nine Red Kites, including three juveniles perched and flying together, c10 Yellowhammers, c20 Skylarks, ten Linnets, a Greenfinch and a Jay. (Chris Newton).

Ashleworth Ham     Birds today included two Mute Swans, 20 Greylags, 100 Canada Geese, seven Wigeon, 20 Gadwalls, five Teal, 200 Mallards, two Pintails, 20 Shovelers, five Skylarks and a Stonechat. Also two Roe Deer. (Mike Smart).

WWT Slimbridge     Birds on South Lake today included 185 Black-tailed Godwits, 22 Avocets, two Greenshanks, at least seven Ruff and a Snipe. On the deep lake 27 Pochards, ten Cormorants and a Great Crested Grebe. (Roberta Goodall).

Blockley     A Spotted Flycatcher today, first of the year. (Chris Morton).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A mating pair of Willow Emerald damselflies along the canal at the first footbridge from the car park. (Paul Masters/MK).
