WWT Slimbridge     A SPOONBILL on the Tack Piece. (Jeremy Squire). From Estuary Tower this morning a Curlew Sandpiper, four Turnstones, 11 Ringed Plovers, 172 Dunlins, 26 Ruff, 210 Curlews, 681 Lapwings, c400 Golden Plovers, two Swallow flew SE, ten Redwings, 277 Pintail, 212 Wigeon, 781 Teal and five White-fronted Geese. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Tidenham Chase     A JACK SNIPE today, first of the autumn. (Steve Thorogood).

Frampton     From Splatt Bridge this afternoon, five Greenshanks, a Marsh Harrier, two Ravens mobbing a Kestrel, a male Stonechat, a Jay, six Cormorants over and four Shelducks. (Steve Pullen).

Halmore     In and around the woods today c10 Redwings, a Mistle Thrush, a Song Thrush, a Goldcrest, c10 Jays, two Green Woodpeckers, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Treecreeper, two Buzzards, two Sparrowhawks and a Goshawk over at dusk. (Chris Newton).
