Newnham-on Severn     A YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER at The Green this morning. It was generally moving around the bridge from the apple tree to the holly. (Lewis Thomson).

Forest of Dean     A YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER in willows at the Nursery Pond, Nagshead early afternoon. (Lewis Thomson/Harriet Robins/Sam Laughlin). At Cannop Ponds birds included 2 + Marsh Tits, 2 + Nuthatches, two Treecreepers, a Raven, a Song Thrush, a Pied Wagtail, four Little Grebes, a female Goosander, a Kingfisher, 8+ Mandarins, four Tufted Ducks, c50 Mallards, three Mute Swans and a Cormorant. Frampton pools     A YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER in the copse at the top of Vicarage Lane in the SW corner of the Sailing Lake at SO74795 06963 at 1:30pm. (Nick Goatman). Heard calling a few times at 3:20pm, but not seen and not again by 4:10pm. (Roberta Goodall/Paul Masters/MK).

Dursley     Late news of a YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER yesterday in a mobile tit flock along the Cotswold Way at ST74361 97703. (per bird news services).

WWT Slimbridge     The immature SPOONBILL flew out of South Lake and headed N over the car park this morning. Three White-fronted Geese on the Dumbles from Estuary Tower. (Dot Jones/Slimbridge Sightings). The SPOONBILL was back on South Lake late afternoon. (Terry Stevenson).

Whitminster     A Barn Owl at the roundabout at 6:45am. (Shane Long).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Viewed from the northern Apperley side, flooding really
extensive and deep and difficult to get views. Most birds were round the edges of a maize stubble field in the NE corner. Birds included 250 Canada Geese, eight Egyptian Geese, 25 Wigeon, 200 Teal, 30 Mallards, 12 Pintails, two Tufted Ducks, 15 Skylarks and five Redwings. (Mike Smart).

Tewkesbury     At Mythe Hook eight Mute Swans, 150 Greylags, 350 Canada Geese, 130 Wigeon, two Gadwalls, 40 Mallards, ten Shovelers and 195 Lapwings today. (Mike Smart).
