Stinchcombe Hill     This morning 1000+ Woodpigeons over, 24 Bramblings, 30 Redwings, seven Siskins, three Redpolls, a Reed Bunting, a Grey Heron, 40 Chaffinches, two Greenfinches, a Chiffchaff and plenty of Goldcrests. (James Robinson).

WWT Slimbridge     The immature SPOONBILL still on South Lake today. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Frampton pools     Two Bramblings, 12 Siskins, 15 Redwings, three Chiffchaffs, 20 Skylarks, 14 Meadow Pipits, six Linnets, a Grey Wagtail, eight Goldcrests, five Bullfinches, 24 Pied Wagtails, the adult Yellow-legged Gull, 46 Tufted Ducks, 48 Cormorants, a Red Kite, two Ravens and 12 Little Egrets today. Saul Warth     Early morning 60 Curlews, three Grey Herons, two Little Egrets, a Kestrel, six Pied Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail, 15 Linnets, 14 Goldfinches, two Reed Buntings, two Chiffchaffs, four Stonechats, 15 Meadow Pipits, three Mistle Thrushes and five Redwings. 40 more Curlews at Epney. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     The towpath leading to Grundon hide is still deeply flooded,
access to the hide currently impossible without thigh waders. A Great White
Egret and a Chiffchaff singing this morning. (Mike Smart).

Cotswold Water Park West    This afternoon at Shorncote three Stonechats, a Kingfisher, Cetti’s Warblers and Water Rails calling, a female Marsh Harrier, on the gravel wash area just past Hayward hide c400 Teal and on Pit 79 two Green Sandpipers and a Great White Egret. (Duncan Dine).

Gloucester    Viewed from Sandhurst Hill, 14 Egyptian Geese, five redhead Goosanders, a Great White Egret, three Little Egrets and 41 Lapwings at the S end of the Ashleworth Ham floods. (Andy Jayne). Around the Landfill Site today a Mute Swan, a Grey Heron, two Cormorants, two Buzzards, two Kestrels, 15 Skylarks, 12 Meadow Pipits, 50 Linnets, a male Reed Bunting and six Roe Deer. (Gordon Avery).

Witcombe     Six Red Kites circling overhead at 4pm. (John Fletcher).

Forest of Dean     Nine Goosanders at Woorgreens this morning. Two Goosanders at Upper Cannop pond with Wigeons, Mandarins, a Little Grebe and two Dippers. Nuthatches, a Marsh Tit and at least three Coal Tits at the Stoneworks and Wild Boar at Nagshead. (Mike Davis).

Cheltenham     A Harris Hawk seen today at 9:50am on the Shakespeare/Tennyson Road junction. (Anne Johnston).
