Shepherds Patch, Slimbridge     A drake COMMON SCOTER on the canal near patch bridge late afternoon. (Paul Hirst).

Cleeve Hill     At dusk, two SHORT-EARED OWLS, N of the lone tree at SO987258. (Giles Alder).

WWT Slimbridge     The WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER on the Dumbles again this morning viewed from Estuary Tower but difficult given poor light and distance. An adult Mediterranean Gull on South Lake. (Ian Hull). Also a Little Stint and a Ringed Plover. (Paul Rich/Dot Jones q). 22 Cattle Egrets with the longhorn cattle and the immature SPOONBILL around the grounds. (Tan Grigg). A BITTERN showed well from Zeiss hide this afternoon and five Spotted Redshanks on South Lake. (Martin Price/Eden Tanner/Roy Kinchin).

Saul Warth     The male WHEATEAR still for its 7th day, 37 Curlews, a Black-tailed Godwit, a Little Egret, two Fieldfares, two Redwings, a female Stonechat, 17 Meadow Pipits, three Chiffchaffs and two Reed Buntings. (MK).

Ashleworth Ham     From the GWT hide this afternoon five Little Grebes, 24 Lapwings, 26 Snipe, a Canada Goose, 250 Teal, 32 Wigeon, 106 Mallards, a Shoveler, three Gadwalls,  a Pintail, a Moorhen, two Grey Herons, 11 Fieldfares, a Buzzard, an immature Marsh Harrier, a Tawny Owl hooted briefly, five Long-tailed Tits, a Chiffchaff and four Bullfinches. Cobney Meadows     12 Mute Swans, two Canada Geese and a Grey Heron. (Mike Smart).

Stonehouse     Late afternoon a Kingfisher and a Little Grebe at the Ocean. A Fieldfare near St Cyr’s church. (Paul Sutton).

Purton     At Tites Point this afternoon 80+ Dunlins, three Little Egrets, five Redshanks, two Curlews, a Lapwing, two Grey Herons, 26 Wigeon, a male Stonechat and four Linnets. (Mike Davis).

Great Rissington     Near Milestone Clump 600+ Golden Plovers, a Grey Heron, a Red Kite, two Kestrels, a Peregrine, 30 Fieldfares, 80 Redwings, a Stonechat, 100 Goldfinches and three Yellowhammers. Elsewhere Red Kites included 12 near Eastleach and 15 at Turkdean. (Andy Jayne).

Windrush    At Windrush Airfield six Grey Partridges, two Red Kites, two Buzzards, 100+ Skylarks, a Stonechat, 24 Fieldfares, 65 Redwings, 200 Linnets, five Yellowhammers and 10+ Corn Buntings. (Andy Jayne).

Tiltups End/Kingscote     From the A46 layby 184 Golden Plovers today. Also a Fieldfare, a Buzzard worming, with a big mixed flock of Starlings and Redwings at ST824956, a Red Kite over and a Raven hassling a Carrion Crow. (Jake King).

Uley     Two Red Kites at Lampern Hill at 10am. (Jamie Warren).

Wotton-Under-Edge     Four Red Kites at Newark Park at 11am. (Jamie Warren).

Epney     Early morning 87 Lapwings and 30 Curlews on the river. (MK).
