Purton No sign of the Common Scoter at by the timber ponds but at 1:05pm a RICHARD’S PIPIT flew over calling frequently in the direction of the ships graveyard where it may have landed but not subsequently relocated. Also a large number of Fieldfares and Redwings flew west. (Terry Grant).
WWT Slimbridge The WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER from Zeiss hide today and later on the Tack Piece. (Gordon Youdale/Slimbridge Sightings). The immature SPOONBILL was on South Lake early afternoon, it flew there from the estuary late morning.
