WWT Slimbridge     On South Lake the immature SPOONBILL, two Egyptian Geese, a Great Black-backed Gull, a Great Crested Grebe, 17 Cormorants and seven Snipe. (Roberta Goodall/Paul Clark). A Goshawk with prey on the Tack Piece, six Bewick’s Swans on the Rushy, a Chiffchaff and three Common Cranes from Estuary Tower and a Kingfisher at the Eider Lake. (Paul Clark).

Sharpness     Two BLACK REDSTARTS in Dock Road this afternoon. (Jamie Warren).

Saul Warth     Early morning at high tide two Little Egrets, 28 Shelducks, 47 Curlews, ten Dunlins, a Rock Pipit, 25 Meadow Pipits, a Grey Wagtail, the male Wheatear (13th day), two Stonechats, three Reed Buntings, three Chiffchaffs, five Song Thrushes (an influx), four Fieldfares and eight Redwings. Longney     A Common Sandpiper tonight at dusk. (Jeremy Squire).

Chavenage Lane area     250+ Redwings, 160+ Fieldfares, eight Mistle Thrushes and a Red Kite today. (Terry Grant).

Cotswold Water Park East    Around pits 111, 126, 127 and 114 birds included a Common Sandpiper, five Pintails, 40+Red Crested Pochards, four Egyptian Geese, ten Greylags, a Green Woodpecker, four Cormorants, 10+ Great Crested Grebes and numerous Mallards, Pochards, Tufted Ducks, Wigeon, Gadwalls and Coots. Coombe Hill Meadows     Nine Mute Swans, 32 Greylags, two Canada Geese, 16 Egyptian Goose, four Shelducks, 203+ Wigeon, a Gadwall, 300+ Teal, 100+ Mallards, 37 Pintails, 78 Shovelers, six Tufted Ducks, seven Cormorants, two Little Grebes, two Grey Herons, three Little Egrets, two Water Rails, 210 Lapwings, a Golden Plover, five Snipe, five Black-headed Gulls, two Skylarks, 35 Fieldfares and a Reed Bunting. Hartpury     At the College birds included six Lapwings, ten Fieldfares, four Redwings, two Mistle Thrushes, three Greenfinches, 20 Goldfinches, 50 Common Gulls, three Stock Doves, a Jay, a Meadow Pipit, two Pied Wagtails and a Red Admiral. (Oliver Paisey).
