Saul Warth     A female Marsh Harrier flew towards Hock Cliff at 8:25am, two Buzzards, a Kestrel, two Little Egrets, seven Shelducks, 20 Curlews, a Grey Wagtail, 11 Meadow Pipits, a male Wheatear still, a Stonechat, three Reed Buntings, three Chiffchaffs, one singing, six Fieldfares and ten Redwings. Gloucester    Around Sandhurst minimum counts of five Gadwalls, four Wigeon, 24 Teal, a Little Grebe, two Red Kites, seven Buzzards, a Peregrine, a Little Owl , a Kingfisher, 1600 Woodpigeons, 40 Skylarks, six Chiffchaffs, two Goldcrests, 100 Chaffinches, a Brambling over, 50 Greenfinches, 300 Linnets, four Yellowhammers and four Reed Buntings. (Andy Jayne). At Horsebere Brook FSA four Reed Buntings, two Stonechats, a Buzzard, c6 Chaffinches and ten Meadow Pipits this morning. (Gary Smithson).

Sharpness     This morning two BLACK REDSTARTS on top of the tall building in Dock Road. Also a pair of Stonechats by SARA and 30+ Wigeon on the river. Four Grey Herons, four Curlews and a Reed Bunting from the picnic site, also a Peregrine, a Kestrel, eight Meadow Pipits and a Rock Pipit. (Steve Pullen).

Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, a Water Rail calling, 203 Mallards, 25 Snipe, 20 Teal, a Coot, a Grey Heron, two Fieldfares, a Reed Bunting, two Buzzards, a Sparrowhawk, five Skylarks, a Meadow Pipit and 500+ Woodpigeons. (John Fletcher/Mike Smart).

Barnsley     A  Great White Egret flew low NW over Oxwold House this morning. (Harvey Sherwood).

Chavenage Lane area     Three Corn Buntings, two Red Kites, 70+ Yellowhammers, 80+ Linnets, seven Long-tailed Tits and two female Stonechats. (Terry Grant).

WWT Slimbridge     A MERLIN over the Tack Piece and two quarrelling Cetti’s Warblers from the Estuary Tower. (Steve Pullen). A Dark-bellied Brent Goose on the Dumbles. (Jonathan Bull). The immature SPOONBILL still on South Lake. (Dot Jones).
