Gloucester     A male BLACK REDSTART high up on the SE side of the Cathedral this morning, also a Peregrine. (Steve Pullen).

Saul Warth     40 Pintails flew S, seven Shelducks, 98 Curlews, a Common Sandpiper, 230 Lapwings flew S, three Kestrels, a Little Egret, the male WHEATEAR still (16 days), four Stonechats, a Rock Pipit, a Reed Bunting, a Redwing, a Mistle Thrush and a Chiffchaff. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge     The immature SPOONBILL on South Lake again today. A BITTERN from Kingfisher hide today. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Frampton pools     12 Chiffchaffs, one singing, a Skylark singing, two Lesser Redpolls, four Siskins, a Yellow-legged Gull, 34 Wigeon, 40 Gadwalls, 52 Tufted Ducks, 25 Shovelers, 27 Mallards, eight Pochards, four Teal, a Great White Egret, two Kingfishers, 215 Coots, 24 Moorhens, seven Great Crested Grebes and a Little Grebe. Guscar Rocks/Aylburton Warth     This morning on the WeBS count 12 Shelducks, 70 Wigeon, 50 Teal, five Mallards, 11 Grey Herons, 180 Lapwings, 50 Dunlins, a Snipe, 236 Curlews, 51 Redshanks, 290 Black-headed Gulls, five Herring Gulls, three Common Gulls, 15 Skylarks and ten Meadow Pipits. Chavenage Lane     1000+ Redwings and 220+ Fieldfares feeding in fields, two Red Kites and two Stonechats. A large mixed flock of the thrushes flew off  WNW. (Terry Grant).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon 50+ Greylags, three Canada Geese, five Egyptian Geese, three Mute Swans, 100+ Shovelers, 100+ Pintails, 100+ Wigeon, 40+ Teal, 50+ Mallards, 12 Lapwings, 35 Snipe, three Little Egrets, a Great White Egret, three Grey Herons, a Marsh Harrier and a Sparrowhawk took a Snipe. Avening    11 Red Kites at Ledgemore Bottom, in two groups (5 and 6), one group possibly scavenging, the other riding a thermal with several Buzzards and Ravens. (Mike Kom).
