Severn Hams     Late news for Saturday morning, a very late juvenile OSPREY flew S following the River Severn between the Red Lion and Ashleworth flood gates. Two Goosanders, four Mandarins, a Kestrel and a Woodcock at Ashleworth and Hasfield Hams. (Robin Lewis).

Moreton-in-Marsh     Late news for Saturday morning, a very vocal Ring-necked Parakeet flew over the garden. (Mark Bonner).

WWT Slimbridge     From Estuary Tower at high tide three female/immature COMMON SCOTERS floating off the Dumbles. The immature SPOONBILL was on the foreshore. A RED-BREASTED MERGANSER flew upriver. (Martin McGill/Ian Hull). A drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL was on the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide, a different bird to last week. (Martin McGill).

Saul Warth     At high tide 15 Curlews, a Common Sandpiper, 76 Lapwings S, two Little Egrets, a Kingfisher, the male WHEATEAR still (17th day), male and female Stonechat, 14 Meadow Pipits, two male Reed Buntings, seven Fieldfares, a Mistle Thrush and four Chiffchaffs, 1 singing. (MK).

Walmore Common     Two Canada Geese, 125 Greylags, two Mute Swans, ten Shovelers, 120 Wigeon, 80 Teal, a Jack Snipe, six Snipe, three Grey Herons, a Kingfisher and four Stonechats today. (Andy Jayne).

Berkeley shore     11 Turnstones, 6+ Redshanks, three Dunlins, a Curlew, two Rock Pipits and five Meadow Pipits. (Les Ditchburn).

Purton to Sharpness     Along the canal two Kingfishers,  two Cetti’s Warblers, a Water Rail heard, 4+ Little Grebes, a Common Sandpiper, a few Fieldfares, a Mistle Thrush, a Song Thrush, 10+ Redwings, a Greenfinch, a Raven, a Kestrel and a Grey Wagtail. At SARA three Snipe, Wigeons, Curlew and a Common Sandpiper and a pair of Peregrines in Dock Road. (Mike Davis/Chris Newton).
