Coombe Hill Meadows     Four KITTIWAKES grounded in the murk/snow briefly from the hide at 10:10am, then flew S at 10:20am. (Ian Hull). In bleak conditions birds also included 80 Shovelers, 45 Pintails, eight Tufted Ducks, a Water Rail, a Little Grebe, a Woodcock near The Leigh, 20 Snipe, 11 Cattle Egrets, three Little Egrets, a Sparrowhawk and a Kingfisher. WWT Slimbridge     From Zeiss hide a drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL on the Top New Piece  amongst 340 Teal. (Paul Rich).

Saul Warth     Few birds in poor viz and heavy sleet, everything bedraggled, six Curlews, a Common Sandpiper, a Kestrel, the male Wheatear still (Day 18) probably roosting in the sewage works for warmth, seven Meadow Pipits, 2 two Reed Buntings, a Mistle Thrush and two Chiffchaffs. (MK).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Pit 201b a Golden Plover, 11 Snipe and 75 Lapwings. Also today a Marsh Harrier and two Treecreepers. (Richard Williams).

Ashleworth Ham     From the GWT hide late afternoon a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, 160 Mallards, a Canada Goose, five Snipe, 15 Teal, 11 Wigeon, a Buzzard, four Robins and two Chaffinches. (John Fletcher).
