Sharpness     From the picnic area on this morning’s rising tide a female COMMON SCOTER flew down river and then came back up on the tide. Also two Common Sandpipers, two Grey Herons, a Rock Pipit, two Curlews, 18 Redshanks, a Kestrel and a Peregrine. (Steve Rickard).

WWT Slimbridge     The immature SPOONBILL Spoonbill was asleep on the causeway at South Lake at 11:20am. (Andy Jordan). The drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL from Zeiss hide early morning. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Saul Warth     Bitterly cold and no sign of the Wheatear 8-10:15am. 22 Curlews, a Grey Plover, 15 Wigeon, a Kestrel, a Rock Pipit, five Meadow Pipits, two Fieldfares, 11 Redwings, three Reed Buntings, a female Stonechat, 50 Linnets and a Chiffchaff. (MK).

Forest of Dean     20+ Goosanders on Woorgreens Lake this morning. (Frank Williams).

Tewkesbury     A Water Rail squealing, along the footpath on the bypass side of Tewkesbury nature reserve. (Sarah Loaring).

Chavenage Lane     450+ Redwings, including an aberrant one, 80+ Fieldfares, ten Blackbirds, five Mistle Thrushes and three Red Kites. (Terry Grant).

Epney     At 12:30pm, close to DC Merrett industrial estate a male Stonechat feeding at the far end of the field, a Red Kite circling overhead and a Grey Heron flew N. (Mil Petkovic).

Framilode     At the church at 1pm eight Fieldfares flew from the riverbank towards the church and two Grey Herons, one on the far bank of the river, the other flew N. (Mil Petkovic).

Arlingham     At 2pm two Reed Buntings feeding on reed heads close to Passage House, two Grey Herons and a Kestrel, hunting from tree tops and attempted a kill.  (Mil Petkovic).

Staverton     A Buzzard harassed by a Carrion Crow for c5 minutes above Gloucestershire Airport today. (Roger Wasley).
