Lydney     Late news for yesterday afternoon, a male HEN HARRIER over fields and the embankment S of Harbour Lane then flew E over the estuary. Also a very late SWALLOW. (Matt Griffiths).

WWT Slimbridge     The drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL showed well from the Robbie Garnett hide. The immature SPOONBILL still on South Lake. (Roberta Goodall).

Saul Warth     Pre-tide ten Curlews, ten Dunlins, a Great Crested Grebe on the river, a Kestrel, six Fieldfares, 24 Redwings, seven Song Thrushes, three Mistle Thrushes, a Reed Bunting, a Stonechat and two Chiffchaffs. (MK).

Chavenage Lane area     450+ Redwings, 180+ Fieldfares, 14 Golden Plovers, five Red Kites, a male Peregrine and a female Goshawk today. (Terry Grant).

Halmore     A Peregrine fast over the garden at dusk and a Barn Owl hunting a field on Halmore Lane at 4:50pm. Also the first Siskins of the winter on the feeders, along with four Greenfinches and two Great Spotted Woodpeckers. (Chris Newton).

Winchcombe     This morning at 10:45am a Water Rail by the bridge below Sudeley Castle. (Martin Jauch).
