Saul Warth     At high tide this morning 28 Pintails, six Wigeon, ten Shelducks, eight Curlews, 43 Lapwings flew S, a Kestrel, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers feeding on the sea wall, a Bullfinch, scarce here, 40 Redwings, ten Fieldfares, two Mistle Thrushes, four Stonechats, 17 Linnets, 19 Meadow Pipits, a Skylark and two Chiffchaffs. WWT Slimbridge     The SPOONBILL still on South Lake today. The drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL on the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide again. Two Water Rails from Willow hide today. 29 Bewick’s Swans on site today. (Dot Jones/Terry Stevenson/Paul Clark).

Maisemore     Mid afternoon two Chiffchaffs, three Long-tailed Tits, a Fieldfare, three Pied Wagtails, 21 Mallards, seven Moorhens, a Cormorant, two Buzzards, eight Mute Swans and two Shelducks. (John Fletcher).
