Saul Warth     This morning post-high tide 25 Shelducks, a female Pintail, 19 Curlews, a Green Sandpiper, a Little Egret, a Peregrine, a Kestrel, three Buzzards, 30 Fieldfares, 15 Redwings, 12 Meadow Pipits, six Pied Wagtails, a Stonechat and two Chiffchaffs. (MK).

Halmore     A MERLIN flying low and fast over fields and heading south across Slimbridge Lane, a patch tick. In the woods birds included a ringed male Kingfisher, two Green Woodpeckers, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, two Treecreepers, three Coal Tits, a Mistle Thrush and two Ravens. (Chris Newton).

Westbury-on-Severn     A tristis/fulvescens type Chiffchaff this morning with 7+ nominate Chiffchaffs at Westbury STW. (Dan Watson).

Sherborne Water Meadows     25 Lapwings, 65+ Wigeon, a Marsh Tit, three Stonechats, two Grey Wagtails, two Bullfinches and a Little Egret today. (Jamie Brown).

Frampton    A male Goldeneye on Court Lake this afternoon. (Martin Price).

Amberley     At Theescombe Lane today both male and female Blackcaps on garden feeders. Three Red Kites circling together low over the field opposite late morning. 40+ Goldfinches gathering in the top of an ash tree before dropping down to roost in a laurel hedge. (Phil Williams).

Gloucester    At Sudmeadow in the plantation this morning a small flock of tits with three Chiffchaffs and a Goldcrest amongst them. Also a Buzzard around. (Gordon Avery).

Coombe Hill Meadows     WeBS count today birds included two Mute Swans, 150 Canada Geese, 50 Greylags, 150 Pintails, 100 Shovelers, 150 Mallards, 1000 Teal, 1000 Wigeon, 25 Tufted Ducks, a Cormorant, two Coots and five Moorhens. (Ian Ralphs).

Ashleworth Ham     WeBS count today birds included three Mute Swans, ten Canada Geese, four Egyptian Geese, 225 Wigeon, 200 Teal, 40 Mallards, 100 Pintails, two Cormorants, a Moorhen, a Dunlin, a Mistle Thrush, five Fieldfares, a Cetti’s Warbler singing and a Raven. (Mike Smart).

Tewkesbury     At Mythe Hook WeBS count today birds included 350 Greylag Geese, 250 Canada Geese, four Egyptian Geese, three Shelducks, 455 Wigeon, 620 Teal, 40 Mallards, nine Pintails, 44 Shovelers, two Tufted Ducks, an immature Marsh Harrier, 335 Lapwings, a Dunlin, 50 Black-headed Gulls and a Stonechat.
