Coombe Hill Meadows     A drake RING-NECKED DUCK this morning, until a Marsh Harrier flew through at 11:15am. No further sign by 1:30pm but could still be on site as there are many places where it could be out of sight. The Grundon hide is closed, please view only from the towpath. The paths are very muddy & slippery, wellies are essential. (Paul Rich/Les Ditchburn/Ian Hull/MK).

Frampton     A very confiding YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER still at Court Lake N of the jetty. It is silent and feeding on the ground most of the time. Please give it room to move about and feed. (Paul Rich). Also a Peregrine over Court Lake, three Goldeneyes (2m, 1f) on the sailing lake, also six Great Crested Grebes, two Reed Buntings, a Bullfinch, eight Linnets, 15+ Redwings, three Mistle Thrushes and six Fieldfares. WWT Slimbridge     This morning six Cattle Egrets and the SPOONBILL on South Lake and later on the Tack Piece. A Little Stint on the Tack Piece. The WHOOPER SWAN on the Rushy.  52 White-fronted Geese on the Four Score ground from Kingfisher hide. (Mark Coller/Slimbridge Sightings). Six Cattle Egrets flew in to South Lake at 3:20pm. (Andy Chapman).  At 3:30pm at least four Cattle Egrets along the E side of the sheep field adjacent to WWT car park, viewed from the gate at the W end of the field. (Andy & Sue Gibbons).

Forest of Dean     At Cannop ponds male and female Goosander, 26 Wigeon, 22 Mallards, four Mandarins, 16 Tufted Ducks, 12 Coots, 16 Moorhens, six Little Grebes, two Mute Swans, a Grey Wagtail, two Pied Wagtails, ten Long-tailed Tits and a Jay. (Mil Petkovic/Mark Makin). At Parkend two Hawfinches in treetops on the square opposite the Woodman Inn. A Dipper in the Lyd stream at Parkend. (Mil Petkovic/Paul Tompkins).

Longney Crib     This afternoon a Common Sandpiper, two Stonechat, three Fieldfares, five Goldfinches, 37 Rooks, a Shelduck, two Mallards, two Grey Herons, a Cormorant, a Buzzard, 37 Rooks, eight Carrion Crows, 300 Black-headed Gulls, 35 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and nine Herring Gull’s. Also a large dog Fox. (John Fletcher).

Gloucester    The pair of Stonechats still present on Sudmeadow and a garden Grey Wagtail at Hempsted this afternoon. (Gord Avery).

Tewkesbury     At Mythe Hook birds included two Mute Swans, five Greylags, 40 Canada Geese, 73 Wigeon, 50 Mallards, three Pintails, two Shovelers, a Little Grebe, two Grey Heron, a Marsh Harrier through mobbed by two Carrion Crows, 255 Lapwings, 150 Jackdaws, 20 Carrion Crows and a Reed Bunting. Cotswold Water Park East    The escaped Scarlet Ibis still on flooded fields past Pit 114. 15 Chiffchaffs at Kempsford Sewage Works this morning. (Duncan Dine).
