Frampton pools     No sign of the Yellow-browed Warbler in a thorough search this afternoon. Both lakes almost fully iced over, 45 Greylags, 18 Teal, five Mute Swans, a pair of Ravens, 24 Redwings, a Nuthatch and two Goldcrests. (MK). Later a Cattle Egret, two Great White Egrets, 16 Little Egrets, 22 Shovelers, 51 Gadwalls, 92 Tufted Ducks, 46 Mallards, 14 Teal, two Wigeon, three Pochards, eight Great Crested Grebes, seven Little Grebes, two Water Rails, 210 Coots, three Blackcaps, a Chiffchaff and two Stonechats. Boxwell     At Boxwell Farm at least two Bramblings in a flock of c100 Chaffinches and five Greenfinches this morning. (Paul Rich).

WWT Slimbridge     The WHOOPER SWAN and 64 Bewick’s Swans on the Rushy. A Water Rail by the South Finger walkway. Two Lesser Redpolls and a Treecreeper in the Spinney wood next to Zeiss hide. 83 Golden Plovers, 16 Dunlins and 1000+ Lapwings on frozen South Lake. (Dot Jones/Tim Jukes).

Berkeley Pill     This evening 307 Lapwings, 30+ Golden Plovers, 150+ Wigeon, 60+ Teal, 12 Song Thrushes, a Stonechat, a Meadow Pipit and a Barn Owl. (Thomas McClung).

Inchbrook     A Tawny Owl flew over the A46 at 10:17pm. (MK).

Lower Kilcott     Five Ravens, two Buzzards and a Red Kite today. (Mike Fisher).

Ryeford to Bond’s Mill     Between 9-10am a Bullfinch, a Chaffinch, a Goldcrest, 11 Cormorants, two Grey Heron, two Buzzards, a Grey Wagtail, two Kingfishers, a female Blackcap and two Meadow Pipits. Also garden male and female Blackcaps. (Paul Sutton).

Cheltenham    A Green Woodpecker in the garden briefly in Benhall this morning. (David Norman).

Coombe Hill Meadows     From the Apperley side almost completely iced over, with
very few gaps in the ice, three Greylags, ten Teal, ten Mallards, four Shovelers, a Buzzard, eight Lapwings, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, five Meadow Pipits, ten Redwings and ten Fieldfares. (Mike Smart).

Tewkesbury     At Mythe Hook six Mute Swans, 50 Greylags, 40 Canada Geese, 130 Wigeon, 160 Mallards, two Shovelers, three Little Grebes and a Lapwing today. (Mike Smart).
