Sharpness     A female/immature male BLACK REDSTART at the Dockers Club this morning. (Andy Jordan).

Berkeley     A female/first winter BLACK REDSTART still at the muddy field opposite the last farm before Hamfields Leisure at 12:51pm. (Thomas McClung).

Toadsmoor Valley     This morning a JACK SNIPE, two Little Grebes on the lake, a Dipper on the fast flowing stream and two pairs of Goldcrests in the larches. (Nick Leitch).

North Cerney     Two Grey Partridges on the left hand side of Dark Lane just before the crossroads with the White Way. (Jeremy Holland).

WWT Slimbridge    On the Rushy a WHOOPER SWAN, 62 Bewick’s Swan and a Black Swan, also four Dunlins and a Snipe. (Chris Moore/Tim McGrath). A Pink-footed Goose of unknown origin with feral geese on the Dumbles. (Dot Jones/Duncan Dine). A Cetti’s Warbler from Estuary Tower. (Jon Dexter).

Halmore     Around the woods today three Bullfinches, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Green Woodpecker, a Treecreeper, a Little Egret, c40 Redwings, a few Fieldfares, a Siskin, two Goldcrests, at least ten Jays, a pair of Ravens and a female Sparrowhawk. (Chris Newton).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote Reedbed five Water Rails seen and c4/5 heard, eight Chiffchaffs, two Cetti’s Warblers seen, several others heard and a male and female Reed Bunting. Wellies essential. (Chris Snook/Jon Mercer). Pit 41 15 Goosanders (10m, 5f) and Pit 58 12 Goldeneyes (3m, 9), a small group of Siskins over, two Stonechats and a Nuthatch. (David Creber).

Stonehouse     This morning a Green Woodpecker near the Ocean, a Little Egret with eight Cormorants in a dead tree roost, a Peregrine on a distant pylon flew off W and a Grey Heron. A Kingfisher and c8 Redwings towards Ryeford. Blackcaps again in the garden. (Paul Sutton).

Amberley     At Theescombe Lane three Blackcaps (2m, 1f) in the garden and two males both in full song. Also a singing Song Thrush and a Green Woodpecker. (Phil Williams).

Nailsworth     On the River Frome by Egypt Mill under the bridge, a Dipper and a Grey Wagtail. (Phil Williams).

Staverton     This Buzzard is a regular visitor to buildings at Gloucestershire Airport and is not bothered by people or aircraft. (Roger Wasley).
