Cobney Meadows    A drake RING-NECKED DUCK with 15 Tufted Ducks on distant floodwater on private land, likely to return to Coombe Hill as floodwater recedes. Also eight Mute Swans, 29 Shelducks, 80 Wigeon, two Gadwalls, five Mallards, 20 Pintails, two Shovelers and two Moorhens. (Mike Smart).

Newnham-on-Severn     A pristine first-winter CASPIAN GULL between Newnham and Broadoak viewed from The Silver Fox Café this afternoon. (Dan Watson).

Walmore Common     A male MERLIN at 4:10pm, then flew off south. (Andy Jayne).

Hazleton    On the approach road from the Salperton direction on the corner by a gateway at SP0744518704 two male and four female Bramblings, with two Corn Buntings and 40+ Chaffinches. Best viewed from your car as the flock is easily spooked. (Paul Masters/Andy Chapman/MK).

Calmsden     Four Grey Partridges along Dark Lane between Calmsden and the White Way. Very elusive today and only located when they called then flew. (Paul Masters/Andy Chapman/MK).

WWT Slimbridge     The drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL opposite Van de Bovenkamp hide this morning. Two WHOOPER SWANS with 53 Bewick’s Swans and a Black Swan this morning on the Rushy. On South Lake three Goldeneyes (2m, 1f), the juvenile SPOONBILL and six Avocets. Two Little Stints from Estuary Tower. (Tim Jukes/Ian Hull).

Forest of Dean    This afternoon between 3pm and 4pm, at least three Hawfinches showing well by the yews next to Parkend cricket ground. (Jon Haw).

Leigh Meadows     Two Mute Swans, two Shelducks, two Mandarins, six Mallards, four Little Egrets, two Cormorants, a Buzzard, a Snipe, a Green Sandpiper, 70 Black-headed Gulls, five Skylarks, a Grey Wagtail and ten Fieldfares today. (Mike Smart).

Ashleworth Ham    Two Mute Swans, 300 Canada Geese, 1000 Wigeon, five Gadwalls, 100 Teal, 50 Mallards and 200 Pintails today. (Mike Smart).
