WWT Slimbridge     The GLOSSY IBIS again today in roadside fields along the approach road. Also an Egyptian Goose. Two Little Stints from Estuary Tower. A wild male Goldeneye on the Eider pen. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Sharpness     A female/immature BLACK REDSTART in Dock Road still this morning around the tallest building. (Andy Jordan).

Gloucester     A male BLACK REDSTART again in private gardens in the Linden area today. Probably ranging around the industrial estate. (Megan Thornbury).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning the drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL again, 20 Mute Swans, 200 Greylags, 150 Canada Geese, 17 Shelducks, 400 Wigeon, four Gadwalls, 1500 Teal, 50 Mallards, 250 Pintails, 220 Shovelers, 20 Tufted Ducks, two Little Egrets, two Grey Herons, 25 Coots, 350 Lapwings, a Black-tailed Godwit, 70 Black-headed Gulls, two Common Gull, two Herring Gulls, an immature Marsh Harrier, eight Snipe and 36 Fieldfares. Sapperton    Large finch/bunting 100+ flock on Jackbarrow Road at SO9586503644 but very difficult to view, can’t be seen when feeding in the stubble and difficult to see in the hedgerow. mostly Linnets and Chaffinches, but also Corn Buntings, Reed Buntings and Yellowhammers. Also 30+ Skylarks in the stubble. (MK).

Halmore     Around the woods today birds included three Bullfinches (2m, 1f), a Green Woodpecker, a singing Mistle Thrush, two Siskins, four Redwings, several Long-tailed Tits, a Nuthatch, a pair of Ravens and a Little Egret over. (Chris Newton).

Stonehouse     Late afternoon male and female Kingfishers, a Cormorant over and a Grey Heron in the Ocean area. (Paul Sutton).
