WWT Slimbridge     The GLOSSY IBIS on roadside fields all day. The SPOONBILL on South Lake. Two WHOOPER SWANS, a Black Swan displaying and an Oystercatcher on the Rushy. Two Little Stints and a Ringed Plover on the Estuary Tower scrape. Two Water Rails and a Kingfisher on the Dragonfly pools. Another Water Rail from Willow hide. Seven Snipe from Martin Smith hide. 60 White-fronted Geese from the South Finger hides. Ten Avocets on the Top New Piece. Four Common Cranes on the Tack Piece. A very tame Little Egret outside the Theatre. (Paul Clark/Warren Gill/Martin Sage/MK). The Pink-footed Goose of unknown origin from Zeiss hide. (Paul Clark). Two Marsh Harriers on a kill on the far side of the Tack Piece near the Shepherd’s Hut. (Warren Gill).

Forest of Dean    At least six Hawfinches feeding underneath the trees near the parking area off Crown Lane, Parkend this morning but easily disturbed. Best watched quietly from your car. A Marsh Tit at Cannop ponds feeding station. (Richard Price).

Tirley    At least ten Chiffchaffs, 1 ringed at the sewage treatment works this morning. (Owen Follis).

Stroud     Along the River Frome and the old canal from Stroud to Dudbridge and back a Dipper, a Cetti’s Warbler and a Grey Wagtail today. (Paul Masters).

Cotswold Water Park West     On Pit 44 male and female Goosanders, on Pit 65 seven Goldeneyes, 6 males. A Little Egret on the Thames. (Kim & Steve Brown).

Cirencester     At Dobbies Garden Centre a Nuthatch and a Bullfinch in the car park. A Little Egret on the Churn opposite Cirencester Aldi. (Kim & Steve Brown).

Maisemore     Along the Three Choirs Way 135 Fieldfares, 25 Chaffinches, 75 Linnets, eight Long-tailed Tits, 95 Goldfinches, a Chiffchaff, a Song Thrush, two Ravens, a Buzzard, four Shelducks, three Coots, three Moorhens, a Grey Heron, seven Cormorants and a Water Rail. (John Fletcher).

Arlingham     Two Bullfinches at 11:30am on winter honeysuckle close to Netting Lane. (Lucy Seabright).

Boxwell     At Boxwell Farm today, six Linnets, six Corn Buntings, two Yellowhammers and three Red Kites together in a tree. (Geoff Moyser).

Leighterton     By the cemetery, 500 Starlings, a Red Kite, 30 Fieldfares and ten Redwings today.
