Moreton Valence     A Barn Owl over the A38 at Smith’s lorry depot at 10:41pm. (MK).

Maisemore    At Maisemore Ham a Green Sandpiper, a Great White Egret, a Red Kite, a Kestrel, a Peregrine, 40+ Redwings, a Stonechat, seven Meadow Pipits, 60+ Chaffinches, 100+ Linnets, 50+ Goldfinches, 15 Yellowhammers and six Reed Bunting. Nearby, the three WHOOPER SWANS still at Leadon Meadows. (Andy Jayne).

Calmsden     Seven Grey Partridges in a field next to the White Way near Calmsden today. (Duncan Dine).

Saul Warth     At high tide, 36 Shelducks, eight Redshanks, a Common Sandpiper, two Little Egrets (three more at Dunstalls Farm), five Grey Herons, seven Common Gulls, 15 Fieldfares, a Redwing, a Skylark, six Meadow Pipits, five Pied Wagtails and three Chiffchaffs. (MK).

Frome Valley     Between Chalford and Daneway today a Kingfisher, a Little Egret, two Marsh Tits, both singing and a Little Grebe. (Graham Bullivant).

Forest of Dean     Two Marsh Tits along the lower path in Caldera Woods. A Hawfinch and a Sparrowhawk in the garden in Coleford. (Geoff Fawcett). At 2pm a juvenile Kestrel perched near garden bird feeders in Lydbrook. (Chris Sullivan).

Stroud area     A Water Rail feeding along the bank of the Stroudwater canal between Lidl and Chestnut Lane. A Little Egret perched on a tree at The Lake at the Lawns, Cainscross. A Grey Heron resting on the opposite bank near Lodgemore Mill. (Mike Leahy).
