WWT Slimbridge     Around the grounds two Bewick’s Swans, two WHOOPER SWANS, a Black Swan and a SPOONBILL. Two Little Stints, 15+ Curlews, 50+ White-fronted Geese and two Kingfishers. Distant views of Red Kite, two Peregrines, a Kestrel, a Buzzard and a Sparrowhawk. (Paul Clark).

Slimbridge     At Shepherds Patch c20 Cattle Egrets in the sheep field opposite the car park. (Terry Grant/Paul Clark).

Purton     At least seven Chiffchaffs in hedgerows by the canal and a Green Woodpecker. (Terry Grant).

Newnham-on-Severn     A Chiffchaff singing at Glevum Windows. (Kim & Steve Brown).

Forest of Dean     At Mallards Pike, three Goosanders (1m), six Mandarins, two Ravens, six Coal Tits singing and small numbers of both Crossbills and Siskins calling and seen in flight. (Kim & Steve Brown).

Leckhampton     Two Ravens over the garden at rooftop height. (Kim & Steve Brown).

Fairford     A Great White Egret and a Snipe on the River Coln at Fairford. (Jonathan Stebbing).

Lower Cockleford    North of Westbury Farm six Golden Plovers, a Red Kite and several singing Skylarks. (Keith Jennings).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Three Mute Swans, 76 Wigeon, four Gadwalls, 150 Teal, 20 Mallards, three Pintails, 57 Shovelers, six Tufted Ducks, three Grey Herons, ten Little Egrets, a Buzzard, five Coots, 50 Lapwings, a Curlew, two Redshanks, a Common Gull, five Skylarks, three singing Chiffchaffs and a singing Reed Bunting. Haw Bridge East     This afternoon an unringed male Curlew. (Mike Smart).

Cobney Meadows     Eight Shelducks, 20 Wigeon, 165 Teal, ten Mallards, a Grey Heron, two Fieldfares and 25 Carrion Crow. (Mike Smart).
