Haresfield     At 10am, in the field over the B4008 from the Garden Centre, a WHEATEAR, a pair of Yellowhammers, a Kestrel and four Roe Deer. Near the church a Green Woodpecker, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Nuthatch and a small group of Long-tailed Tits. (Steve Brown).

WWT Slimbridge     84 Avocets on South Lake. Male and female Kingfisher from Kingfisher hide. A wild drake Goldeneye displaying to captive females in the Eider pen. A Little Stint on the Estuary Tower scrape. (Jeanne Vitkovskis/Dot Jones/Jon Dexter/Oliver Paisey).

Cirencester    A Crossbill and a Hawfinch in Oakley Wood, Cirencester Park, this afternoon. (Martine Fenn).

Forest of Dean     From the Dean Heritage Centre at Soudley two Goshawks, a Sparrowhawk, two Buzzards, two Peregrines, a Raven, a Marsh Tit, a Grey Wagtail, a Goldcrest, a Nuthatch and a pair of Goosanders over. Also a Red Admiral. (Keith Colcombe).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A Mute Swan, three Shelducks, 145 Wigeon, six Gadwalls, 200 Teal, 30 Mallards, six Pintails, 56 Shovelers, 16 Shelducks, six Grey Herons, six Little Egrets, six Cormorants, 14 Coots, five Moorhens, a Water Rail, two Avocets, 42 Lapwings, a Little Ringed Plover dropped in briefly, then flew on NE calling, an adult female Marsh Harrier, five Buzzards, four Curlews, two Redshanks, 71 Black-headed Gulls, 18 Herring Gulls, 48 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, a Common Gull, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Green Woodpecker, a Raven, a Stock Dove, five Skylark, two Cetti’s Warblers, a Blackcap, eight Chiffchaffs, two Fieldfares, ten Pied Wagtails, three Skylarks, a Bullfinch and five Reed Buntings. Chalford     This afternoon along the River Frome, a Water Rail, a Dipper and a Little Egret at SO898025. (Vic Polley).
