Forest of Dean     From New Fancy View a Goshawk at 12:20pm, a Sparrowhawk over at 12:30pm, five Buzzards and two Ravens. At Cannop Ponds five Mandarins (4m, 1f), a Tufted Duck, a Mute Swan, two Canada Geese and two Nuthatches. At Parkend  7+ Hawfinches feeding under the Yew trees by the cricket ground with Chaffinches, a Mistle Thrush on the cricket ground and a Raven over. (Dan Fletcher/Nick Truby).

Awre     The RICHARD’S PIPIT still today at SO 71875 08904. Park at Awre church. Wellies recommended for the walk out due to deep puddles. (per BirdGuides).

Frampton     An adult MEDITERRANEAN GULL, a Bar-tailed Godwit, 55 Curlews and 24 Redshanks at Splatt flashes this morning. (Gordon Hodgson). At the sailing lake late morning today, 20+ Sand Martins 18 Linnets, four Reed Buntings and seven Chiffchaffs. 14 Redwings in the paddock by the church. (Steve Pullen).

Saul Warth     At least 20 Chiffchaffs in the bushes next to the sewage works. (Steve Pullen).

WWT Slimbridge     A juvenile MEDITERRANEAN GULL on South Lake today. Also a Lesser Redpoll nearby with Goldfinches. The drake Goldeneye in the collection with Eiders. Two Little Stints from the estuary tower on the scrape and a juvenile SPOONBILL still. (Oliver Paisey). 94 Avocets on South Lake. A male Kingfisher from Knott hide and the Coal Tit still from Kingfisher hide. (Dot Jones).

Haresfield     This morning in the field edges opposite the garden centre at least five male Yellowhammers, four Skylarks, 15+ Linnets and three Buzzards. (Steve Pullen).

Alvington    Three Red Kites over Clanna Country Park mid afternoon. (Paul Woolams).

Ashleworth Ham     This morning a Mute Swan, four Greylags, 101 Wigeon, 136 Teal, 20 Mallards, two Pintails, two Little Egrets, a Buzzard, two Coots, three Snipe, a JACK SNIPE, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Skylark, six Redwings and three Reed Buntings. (Mike Smart).

Cobney Meadows     Seven Mute Swans, 30 Wigeon, 285 Teal, 25 Mallard, two Buzzards, a pair of Curlews and 20 Carrion Crows today. (Mike Smart).

Leigh Meadows     Two Mute Swans, three Mallards, two Snipe, two Meadow Pipits and 20 Fieldfares today. (Mike Smart).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Birds today included our Mute Swans, eight Canada Geese, 40 Mallards, six Shovelers, 122 Wigeon, 250 Teal, 23 Shelducks, two pairs of Tufted Ducks, 30 Lapwings, two Oystercatchers, four Snipe, three Cormorants, eight Grey Herons, a Great White Egret, four Little Egrets, six Coot, four Moorhens, a Great Black-backed Gull and a Coal Tit today.
