Newnham-on-Severn    At 4:35pm an OSPREY seen ESE from Littledean Hill Road in the direction of the estuary over Newnham. (Dan Watson). 

Rodley     A pair of Little Ringed Plovers on flooded farmland this morning. (Rachel Thomas).

Walmore Common     A Little Ringed Plover this morning. Also 100 Wigeon, 50 Teal, seven Lapwings, two Shelducks, two Little Egrets, three Buzzards and a Red Kite. (David Smith).

Awre     The RICHARD’S PIPIT still today at SO 71875 08904. Park at Awre church. Wellies recommended for the walk out due to deep puddles. (per BirdGuides).

Stroud     At Capel’s Mill two Dippers, a Redwing, a Goldcrest and a Chiffchaff today. (Gerard Doran).

Alvington    A Goshawk circled very low over Clanna Country Park mid morning. (Paul Woolams).

Halmore     In the woods today two Goshawks, two Buzzards, four Treecreepers, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, several Goldcrests, three Coal Tits, four Long-Tailed Tits, two Greenfinches, two Song Thrushes, c20 Redwings and several Fieldfares. (Chris Newton).

Maisemore    At the Leadon Meadows near Maisemore two Greylags, nine Shelducks, eight Shovelers, 60 Pintails, 70 Teal, two Snipe, a Great White Egret and two Little Egrets. (Andy Jayne).

Huntley     A Marsh Tit singing this morning on the edge of Cherry Wood. (Owen Follis).

Frampton     A Swallow between the lakes with 12 Sand Martins at 5:20pm. (Nick Goatman). 22 Sand Martins at the sailing lake at midday. (Paul Masters). On the flashes N of Splatt Bridge this afternoon, a Marsh Harrier, four Curlews, a Little Egret, three Chiffchaffs and a Red Kite over the 100-Acre at 3pm. (MK).

Saul Warth     This afternoon ten Shovelers, a pair of Pintails, four Teal, eight Mallards, four Mute Swans and 20+ Coots. On the river 100+ Shelducks and 50+ Curlews. Also a Great White Egret, a Snipe, four Meadow Pipits and a Skylark. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge    Still two WHOOPER SWANS and two Bewick’s Swans on the Rushy. Two Little Stints on the Dumbles scrape. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Witcombe Reservoirs    WeBS count today birds included 11 Canada Geese, two Mute Swans, 130+ Mallards, a female Teal, 25 Tufted Ducks, eight Great Crested Grebes, eight Cormorants (including an adult sinensis type), 11 Moorhens and seven Coots. Also a Buzzard, a Chiffchaff and a Muntjac. (Gordon Avery).

Hatherley     A Red Kite hunting over a field adjacent to Hatherley Manor at 12:30pm. (Gordon Avery).

Coombe Hill Meadows    Two Red Kites circling over the Long pool area and a female Marsh Harrier this morning. (Les Ditchburn).

Longney Crib     Three Oystercatchers, two Cormorants, two Grey Herons, a Moorhen, two Chiffchaffs, a Green Woodpecker, two Ravens and a Buzzard today. (John Fletcher).
