At Pit 114 complex six Red Crested Pochards, three pairs Egyptian Geese, four Red Kites, a pair of Oystercatchers, a Green Sandpiper, 2 Snipe, a White Wagtail with c28 Pied and two Redwings. Cleeve Hill A Short-eared Owl ranging widely around the E side late afternoon. Also eight Red Kites, 120 Linnets and a Barn Owl in the Whitehall Farm area at dusk. (Andy Jayne).
Forest of Dean At Cannop Ponds this afternoon two Little Grebes, six Wigeon, ten Tufted Ducks, two Cormorants, three Grey Wagtails, a Dipper, two Nuthatches, a Marsh Tit and two Ravens at Upper Pond. Six Tufted Ducks, three Goosanders (1m) and a Siskin at the Stoneworks. (Paul Clark).
Coombe Hill Meadows Two Mute Swans, 15 Wigeon, 35 Teal, 20 Mallards, four Grey Herons, a Little Egret, a Peregrine, four Coots, ten Lapwings, three Snipe, a Curlew, two Redshanks, five Skylarks, a Pied Wagtail, four Fieldfares, three Chiffchaffs, a Treecreeper, 200 Carrion Crows, ten Rooks, 20 Jackdaws and three Reed Buntings.
