Horsley     A HOOPOE in a private garden for a few minutes at 5:15pm today. (per David Bullock).

Frampton     The drake RING-NECKED DUCK still on Court Lake today. (Paul Clark/Nick Goatman). Also around the pools today six Great Crested Grebes, a pair of Reed Buntings collecting nesting material, six Willow Warblers, 35 Chiffchaffs, 21 Blackcaps, 41 Tufted Ducks, 19 Gadwalls, two Pochards, a Shoveler, two Teal and seven Curlews. (Nick Goatman). From Splatt Bridge this morning two calling Little Ringed Plovers flew high N, two Greenshanks, an adult MEDITERRANEAN GULL with a Black-headed Gull flock, 20 Swallows, 30 Sand Martins, three House Martins, two Yellow Wagtails and two Fieldfares flew N. (Gordon Hodgson). Two Bullfinches in the trees by the reed bed at Splatt Bridge this morning, unusual here. (Bill Church). A Parakeet sp flew over Vicarage Lane at 10:50am (Bill Church) and was also seen at Court Lake this morning. (Richard Cawsey). Possibly the same bird as the Ring-necked Parakeet in a Saul garden on 25th March but could be Alexandrine.

Saul Warth     Four Common Cranes on the Warth this morning. (Gordon Hodgson).

WWT Slimbridge     A SPOONBILL and a Little Ringed Plover on Tack Piece. (Roy Kinchin). On South Lake five Cattle Egrets, two Common Sandpipers and a MEDITERRANEAN GULL. A Greenshank  and a Spotted Redshank from Hogarth hide. (Phil Pope/Paul Clark).

Cotswold Water Park East     The drake LESSER SCAUP still on Pit 111 at Whelford today. (Ian Sherriffs).

Colesbourne     Between 4:20-7pm at Pen Hill a Goshawk, three Red Kites, 6+ Buzzards, two Ravens, 94 Fieldfares, two Redwings, a male Redstart, two Marsh Tits and five Meadow Pipits. (Andy Jayne).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote Reedbeds this morning a pair of GARGANEYS, a pair of Red Crested Pochards, 16 Tufted Ducks, six Teal, 12 Gadwalls, a Great White Egret, six Cormorants, one swallowed a Pike whole, two Lapwings, a female Marsh Harrier, a Red Kite, a Kingfisher, a Jay, 4+ Cetti’s Warblers, three Sedge Warblers (1 seen), two Willow Warblers, two Chiffchaffs and a Green-veined White. Forest of Dean     At Nagshead today birds included a male Redstart, a male Pied Flycatcher, a Chiffchaff, a Siskin, a male Hawfinch, a pair of Mallards, a Stock Dove, a Nuthatch, a male Blackcap and a Goldcrest. (Eden Tanner).

Ebworth     Eight Wheatears on the Ebworth drive at 5pm. (Tom Griffin).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Five Avocets, a Little Ringed Plover, an Oystercatcher, three Great White Egrets, two Little Egrets, a Grey Heron, two Redshanks, several Lapwings, c60 Wigeon also Mallard and Teal, a Raven, three Sedge Warblers, two Whitethroats, six Willow Warblers, several Chiffchaffs, four Redstarts, a Yellow Wagtail seen from the Teal Hide and a Kestrel on wires by the A38 junction.
