Standish     A HOOPOE in a private garden for 10 minutes at lunchtime then flew W. (Mike Leahy). Relocated at 6:50pm at SO8133206808 but very elusive and flighty. Please keep to the public footpaths. (MK/Paul Rich).

Ebworth     A male RING OUZEL still this morning at SO9021711812. Also at seven Wheatears, including a Greenland bird, 25+ Fieldfares and a pair of Mandarins. (Tom Griffin/MK/Mark Dowie).

Leigh Meadows    A WHINCHAT along the River Chelt this morning. Also two male Redstarts and a Yellow Wagtail over. (Daniel Gornall).

Cotswold Water Park East    A CUCKOO heard today at Whelford Pools. (Mr & Mrs Mabbett per Tom Mabbett).

Forest of Dean    A GARDEN WARBLER singing at The Barracks this afternoon. (Owen Follis). At Nagshead a male Redstart and a male Pied Flycatcher today. (Clive Scarlett).

Cleeve Hill    Today a RING OUZEL, eight Red Kites, five Buzzards, Meadow Pipits, Linnets, Skylark, 12 Golden Plovers, a Yellowhammer and a Raven. (Alan McIlquham). East of the aerials trig point at least two Wheatears and a pair of Stonechats. In the scrub S of the aerials a Mistle Thrush, a male Stonechat, a singing Chiffchaff and a Willow Warbler. Also two Red Kites. (Keith White).

Frampton     The drake RING-NECKED DUCK still on Court Lake today. (Paul Rich). At Splatt N reedbed early this morning, a Whitethroat, a Reed Warbler and a Willow Warbler. On the canal a pair of Gadwalls and a Grey Heron. At Frampton sailing lake a Cetti’s Warbler. (Steve Pullen).

Saul Warth     Two Whimbrels, 14 Bar-tailed Godwits, a Wheatear, a Little Stint, three Dunlins and a Common Sandpiper. (Paul Rich/Steve Rickard).

Coombe Hill Meadows    A Mute Swan, six Canada Geese, seven Shelducks, 15 Wigeon, 14 Teal, ten Mallards, four Shovelers, a Great White Egret, 13 Cattle Egrets gathering to roost, four Grey Herons, two Coots, two Oystercatchers, eight Avocets, two Lapwings, six Curlews, three Redshanks, three Skylarks, 28 Pied Wagtails, four Yellow Wagtails, a Sedge Warbler, three Chiffchaffs and 40 Carrion Crow this evening. Ashleworth Ham     A Redstart heard and three Snipe today. (Ken Heron & Jenny Jones).

Nailsworth     On a walk from Dunkirk Mills to Ruskin Mill four pairs of Grey Wagtails,  a pair of Mandarins, a Little Egret, four Grey Herons, five singing Blackcaps, a Dipper and six singing Chiffchaffs. (Terry Grant).
