Cotswold Water Park East     The drake LESSER SCAUP still on Pit 111 at Whelford today and a Whimbrel over. (Nigel Pleass).

Cleeve Hill     Late morning/early afternoon a Whinchat near the car park at the masts. Heading E five Wheatears on the wall. Just E of the heather enclosure a Tree Pipit and N of the heather enclosure a Whitethroat singing. A male RING OUZEL in the last large area of gorse left of the very wide path that goes from the golf course to the masts. (Ken Heron).

Charlton Kings Common     This morning a Garden Warbler and two Tree Pipits at sunrise. (Chris Furley).

Saul Warth      At high tide this morning 56 Shelducks, two Egyptian Geese, 38 Curlew, three Whimbrels, 23 Bar-tailed Godwits, a Grey Plover, two Redshanks, a Common Sandpiper, seven Oystercatchers, 18 Dunlins, a migrant Marsh Harrier, a Sand Martin, two Wheatears, 15 Meadow Pipits, a pair of Reed Buntings, a Whitethroat and a Chiffchaff. Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning 10+ singing male Redstarts, four Whitethroats, many Sedge Warblers, a Green Sandpiper dropped in and out from Teal hide at 8:32am and a Great White Egret. (Steve Rickard). This afternoon from the new hide eight Grey Herons, two Great White Egrets, six Little Egrets, two Oystercatchers, two Curlews, four Redshanks, four Wigeon, 12 Lapwings, several Chiffchaffs and six Avocets. Also this morning a Mute Swan, 14 Wigeon, four Teal, 20 Mallards, four Shoveler, two Moorhens, two Redstarts, two Sedge Warblers, two Blackcaps, five Chiffchaffs, a Treecreeper and a Reed Bunting. Ashleworth & Hasfield Hams     Two Greylags, two Canada Geese, 32 Mallards, a Red Kite, a Buzzard, a Snipe, two Curlews, two Redstarts, a Whitethroat, a Blackcap, two Chiffchaffs and two Linnets. (Mike Smart/Shaun Curtis).

Cobney Meadows     Three Mute Swans, seven Canada Geese, 24 Mallards, two Grey Herons, a Curlew, two Lesser Black-backed Gulls, four Herring Gulls, two Redstarts, a Lesser Whitethroat and a Willow Warbler. (Mike Smart/Shaun Curtis).

Leigh Meadows     A Mute Swan, nine Mallards, a Snipe, a Curlew, 30 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 160 Herring Gulls, five Common Gulls, five Black-headed Gulls, three Skylarks, two Yellow Wagtails, a Willow Warbler, 200 Carrion Crows and two Reed Buntings. (Mike Smart/Shaun Curtis).

Halmore     A steady movement of Fieldfares E through the woods, c80-100 birds in 2 hours. Also three Treecreepers, a Nuthatch, two Grey Herons, two Green Woodpeckers, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, three Song Thrushes, a Mistle Thrush and a Goldcrest, plus many Orange Tips, Brimstones, Peacocks and Speckled Woods and a few Green-veined Whites. Minchinhampton Golf Club – Avening Course     Two Chiffchaffs, a Red Kite, four Greylags, two Song Thrushes, two male and two female Tufted Ducks on the lake, two Chaffinches and four Buzzards over Nags Head Lane, Avening. (Mil Petkovic).
