Forest of Dean     A Cuckoo heard from Crabtree Hill but distantly to the N at 7:49am today. (Frank Williams). A Tree Pipit on Crabtree Hill this morning. (Geoff Fawcett).

Highnam Wood     A Nightingale singing and showing well early morning. (Tom Berry).

Saul Warth     At high tide this morning 57 Shelducks, a pair of Gadwalls, a pair of Egyptian Geese, 20 Bar-tailed Godwits, four Black-tailed Godwits, 11 Curlews, two Grey Plovers, eight Oystercatchers, two Dunlins, a Common Sandpiper, 500+ Sand Martins roosting after rain, a Swallow, a Whitethroat and two Chiffchaffs. WWT Slimbridge     A BITTERN flew from Pill Box pool reed bed to the Top New Piece viewed from Estuary Tower. (Heather England).

Sharpness     A female MERLIN S of the picnic site this evening. (Andy Jordan).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This evening two Redshanks, a Reed Bunting, a Sedge Warbler seen, many heard, an Oystercatcher, two Lapwings, two Canada Geese, a Little Egret, two Great White Egrets and a Common Crane. (Paul Dibden).

Nailsworth     A Little Grebe and a Marsh Tit at Ruskin Mill top pond today. (Paul Sutton).
