Saul Warth     At high tide at midday 68 Shelducks, 60+ Bar-tailed Godwits, 13 Whimbrels, two Curlews, five Grey Plovers, ten Oystercatchers, a Redshank, a Common Sandpiper, 25 Dunlins, 11 Ringed Plovers, a Yellow Wagtail flew E, two Swallows, a House Martin, 100+ Sand Martins and a Whitethroat. This evening 83 Bar-tailed Godwits, seven Curlews, 29 Dunlins, four Grey Plovers, ten Ringed Plovers, six Oystercatchers, two Little Egrets, a Marsh Harrier, 100 Sand Martins, a House Martin and a Swallow. Tresham     Late afternoon a MERLIN and a RING OUZEL. Also two Wheatears, two Whitethroats, three Corn Buntings, two Red Kites and a Stock Dove. (Paul Rich).

WWT Slimbridge    A MERLIN on the Dumbles early afternoon. Also six Yellow Wagtails, five Greenshanks, a Green Sandpiper, a SPOONBILL and a Common Sandpiper on the Tack Piece, and a Cuckoo calling to the S from Knott hide. (Paul Masters/Tom Blay). Stroat     At 11.45am a Swift seen from road near the church. (Stephen Curtis & Carol Rushton).

Churchdown Hill      Three Wheatears today. Also a Bullfinch seen and heard. (Sarah Townsend).

Gloucester     At Horsebere Brook NR this afternoon 4 or 5 Wheatears on the extended manure pile along the track E of Horsbere Brook, leading up the hill to the farm. Also a Yellow Wagtail, a Common Whitethroat, two Reed Warblers, two Sedge Warblers, two Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap, a Swallow, a Greenfinch and a Skylark. Elmore Court     In the rewilding area this evening, a Great White Egret, two Little Egrets a Grey Heron, three Lapwings and two Little Grebes on the scrape. Also four Sedge Warblers, a Cetti’s Warbler, eight Chiffchaffs and a late Fieldfare. (Steve Pullen).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Today five Greylags, three Canada Geese, a Mute Swan, five Shelducks, three Wigeon, three Gadwalls, 12 Teal, 26 Mallards, three Grey Herons, two Great White Egrets, four Avocets, a Little Ringed Plover, 12 Lapwings, two Oystercatchers, a Dunlin, a Snipe, four Whimbrels, three Curlews, four Redshanks, three Skylarks, 23 Yellow Wagtails, a White Wagtail, four Pied Wagtails, two Meadow Pipits, nine Sand Martins, 200 Swallows and House Martins, three Redstarts, four Sedge Warblers, eight Whitethroats, three Blackcaps, three Chiffchaffs, a Treecreeper and two Reed Buntings.
